I found this group on Japanzine. It's called "Nagoya Computer Club." The members from many nationalities meet every 3rd Saturday and talking about computer things over lunch. I haven't joined but sounds interesting for me.

Cafe Toshikoe

Exploring by bicycle in Ogaki is great fun and the best way to find a new small shop. I found a cafe "永久 toshikoe" today. It's a small cafe that has chic interior and dimmish lighting.
It was too late for lunch-set when I arrived at there and I had omelet rice. To be honest, it wasn't anything special but original blend coffee was nice. The staff were very friendly, I could spent relaxed & good time. I'd love to try lunch set next time.

Ogaki Rock Festival on 8th June
You may suspect the quality of the first rock festival in such a small town. I have watched pre-event of this festival, it was not bad and it worth to go out to watch them. Three stages will be set around the Ogaki castle and over 25 groups perform.I couldn't find many demo songs on internet, but I think this rock band "headline", from Mie prefecture, is nice (click here to play demo songs) .

Q. I'm living in the south of Ogaki Station. Where's the closest supermarket from my flat ?
I guess the closest one is "yanagen." Yanagen is the old local department store. It consists of two attached buildings and there's a grocery store in ground floor of building "B" (east side).
If you walk down the main street from the station toward south, you'll see it on your left side.
